SCA Inductions

Soccer (Grades 5-8)

We are looking forward to the 2024-2025 season! Interest meeting is planned for Wednesday, May 22, at 4:00 p.m. in Simeon Center. More details will be sent home after Spring Break


Volleyball Camp (Grades 5-8)

Students have the opportunity to learn about volleyball including rules, how to serve the ball effectively, and how to score & play a game.  

Extracurricular Choirs

 

Cherub Choir

This choir is for students ages 3 years old through kindergarten.  The choir meets on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:00pm in the Children's Library of the Fox Hill Campus.  This choir performs during Gloria Dei Lutheran Church's Sunday morning worship services.

SonShine Choir

This choir is for students in first through fifth grade.  The choir meets on Thursdays from 3:30-4:00pm in the Music Room on the Willow Oaks Campus.  This choir performs during Gloria Dei Lutheran Church's Sunday morning worship services.

Master's Singers

Students in grades 3-8 are invited to audition to participate in this choir (participation is by audition only).  The choir practices on Tuesday afternoons from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Fox Hill Campus.  There will be various performances at different events throughout the school year.

After-School Art and Drama (Grades 1-8)

After-School Art for first through eighth grade will explore a variety of arts and crafts during the 2021-2022 school year; sessions 1 & 2 will focus on fiber crafts like needlework and basketry, while sessions 3 & 4 will explore sculpture media. The program will run from 3:00-4:00 in the Willow Oaks art room for a total of 8 sessions. Grades 1-2 will meet on Tuesdays. Grades 3-5 will meet on Wednesdays. There is a limit of 15 students per class each session.

STEM Workshop Series

Session #1: Dates to be determined for grades 3-5
Session #2: Dates to be determined for grades 6-8

Each session consists of four after-school classes designed to stimulate and sharpen skills in SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, and MATH. There is a limit to the number of students who will be able to participate in each session.


SCA (Grades 6-8)

"Student Voice by Student Leadership through Student Participation"

This middle school club will have officers who are elected by their peers in the fall. The SCA will have monthly in-school meetings and additional after-school meetings as needed. They will run several community service projects throughout the course of the year including a Thanksgiving food drive, Valentine's Day Candy-o-gram sale, and volunteering at our Chic-Fil-A nights.


Math Tutoring (Middle School)

Free math tutoring is available on Mondays after-school from 3:00-4:00pm.
