De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek is looking for a Senior Legal Advisor (Dutch Law) to join our Corporate Advisory department. As Senior Counsel, your primary role is to share and develop your knowledge with colleagues across the firm. The ideal candidate has recently worked as a notary candidate and has over five years of relevant experience as a corporate lawyer. As Senior Legal Counsel, you will work – along with other experts in this department – to maximize our legal advice. Although you can develop a specialty, our firm favours a generalist approach: you work on both private mergers and acquisitions and public mergers and acquisitions issues. You may also work on restructurings and be involved in parts of corporate disputes. Our M&A practice is part of our broader corporate practice, which covers many other areas of expertise.
You will work closely with colleagues from other departments, including labour law, competition law, management consulting (notary) and taxation. Likewise, there are possibilities of all shapes and sizes. If you have at least five years of experience, with unfulfilled dynamism and ambition, then perhaps life as a Senior Associate at De Brauw is the challenge you need? Or maybe the role of legal counsel would be a perfect mix to pique your curiosity? With the role of Senior Associate M&AIn in this role, you will manage the most complex and demanding transactions in the Netherlands and abroad. Associates who successfully secure a place in one of the two training programs will receive a fixed 3.5-year contract with the option to move to the Senior Associate upon completion. You will work closely with members of our CA practice group and support them as needed.
